MISSION & OUTREACH continued...
Primates World Relief and Development (PWRDF) St. Luke's designates one Sunday in Lent as PWRDF Sunday each year. The service is usually followed by a subs lunch, the proceeds of which is sent to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund. The Mission and Outreach Committee continues to encourage the use of the blue envelopes found in your yearly envelope package for donations to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund. The quarterly publication "Under The Sun" is posted on St. Luke's Bulletin boards to provide information about the work of the Primates Fund.
Support for the Regina Food Bank The Mission and Outreach Committee continues to promote Food Bank Sunday on the first Sunday of the month as designated by Vestry.
The Christmas Hamper Project Your Mission and Outreach Committee coordinates the Christmas Hamper project each year. The Christmas hampers project gathers approximately 20 hampers which helps to provide a merry Christmas for around 42 adults and 37 children each year. Hampers are well stocked with the makings of Christmas dinner, staple food items, treats, gift items and baby foods to assist teenage unmarried mothers.
