St. Luke’s AuxilLiary
St. Luke’s Auxilliary comprises a group of approximately twenty four women. We meet on the third Monday of the month, a spiritual reflection, for business and for fellowship.
Our ministry is essentially one of loving service and hospitality. Many things are done behind the scenes. Among these are providing a fitting atmosphere and setting, through catering and hall decorations for birthdays, funerals or other events.
The Auxilliary also organizes our parish’s Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and we keep in touch with those baptized in our church, for example by sending birthday cards.
Some of our group continues to visit the sick in hospital. In addition, we take care of the kitchen and look after supplies for Coffee Hour.
Our meetings begin with a spiritual reflection and end with prayer.
